Le ricostruzioni nel nord della Francia all’indomani della Grande Guerra. La selezione della memoria attraverso la reintegrazione dell’immagine

The contribution aims to investigate reconstruction in the then Pas-de-Calais region in France, in the aftermath of the Great War, through the work of Pierre Paquet in Arras and in comparison with other examples in the region. Commissioned by the French State, can be seen as a reaction to the ‘tabula rasa’. The value of the reconstituted image as a symbol of the ambivalent attitude of remembrance/denial of the devastation of war will be examined
