The chapter is organized as follows. Section 6.2 provides an overview of the main challenges related to the S-LCA methodology and its application. In section 6.3 the proposed social assessement framework for bio-based products is presented. Section 6.4 describes and discusses the results. Finally, in Section 6.5 conclusions are made and future directions for research are suggested.
