The present study fits into a theoretical framework that explores how, in the event of catastrophes, the resulting feelings can overwhelm the individual, bringing him or her into a state of uncertainty. This leads to disruptive effects within the everyday life that many sociologists describe as ‘ordinary’ since the ‘extraordinary’ brings people in unpredictable directions, provoking destabilizing fears, also towards the future. So, the aim of this paper is to explore the consequences resulting from the current global emergency, that is the Covid-19 pandemic. In detail, the present research explores how the inequalities in terms of cultural and socio-economic capital has affected both personal and social sphere. To this end, the analysis investigates results obtained from a web-survey, conducted in 2021 on Sapienza University of Rome students, whose purpose was to collect suggestions for the study of social issues related to living conditions, ideas and problems of our historical time.

Abstract
To this end, the analysis investigates results obtained from a web-survey, conducted in 2021 on Sapienza University of Rome students, whose purpose was to collect suggestions for the study of social issues related to living conditions, ideas and problems of our historical time.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
