Una chiave per "La Libellula" di Amelia Rosselli

The article investigates the method of rewriting texts of the previous poetic tradition in the poem La Libellula by Amelia Rosselli, which the author approached to the concept of musical variation, first of all by reconstructing the author's discourse on the relationship between meter and music, centered on the substantial divergence between the two phenomena - the opposition between the mathematical exactitude of musical music and the inaccuracy, the substantial non-mathematization of poetic rhythm. The cultural ancestry of this opposition (already rooted in seventeenth-century reflection on the relationship between the two arts) is shown and the analysis of the method of variation on the theme not only applied, but also theorized in the poem "la Libellula", descended above all from Petrarchan sources.

L’articolo indaga il metodo di riscrittura di testi della tradizione poetica precedente nel poemetto la Libellula di Amelia Rosselli, che l’autrice avvicinò al concetto di variazione musicale, anzitutto ricostruendo il discorso dell’autrice sul rapporto tra metrica e musica, centrato sulla divergenza sostanziale tra i due fenomeni -l’opposizione tra l’esattezza matematica della musica musicale e l’inesattezza, la non matematizzabilità sostanziale del ritmo poetico. Si mostrano le ascendenze culturali di questa opposizione (già radicato nella riflessione secentesca sulla relazione tra le due arti) e ci si sofferma sull’analisi del metodo di variazione sul tema non solo applicato, ma anche teorizzato nel poemetto “la Libellula” , disceso soprattutto da fonti petrarchesche.
