An in depth analysis of the section devoted to the inscriptions of Rome of the manuscript D 420 inf., preserved in the Ambrosiana Library, allows us to improve our knowledge of both the epigraphic content and of the way in which it was studied by the author, Mariangelo Accursio. All this was made possible by a number of research tools now available online, including the digital version of the manuscript in IIIF and the ingestion of the inscriptions in the Epigraphic Database Roma (EDR), the Epigraphic Database Bari (EDB), and the Epigraphic Database Falsae (EDF).
