Aim of this research project is to analyze the behavior of the Italian companies in comparison to the solutions adopted for the maintenance and reintegration in the labour market of ageing workers, as well as the strategies adopted for their professional exploitation, based on the results of two Isfol surveys: the first one, qualitative, on the age management in the large companies; the second one, quantitative, on the attitude of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) towards the ageing workers. As a result, emergent trends will be underlined in the great enterprises, with a focus on similarities and differences with respect to the SMEs, in order to individualize feasible development perspective
