O lectură spitzeriană a romanului românesc postbelic: idei pentru o analiză

Starting from Leo Spitzer's studies on the language of dialogue, the article proposes some possible directions of research on the Romanian novel under communism, which would address its stylistic and formal aspects. In fact, very few studies on the novel of this period have been interested in aspects related to language and style, paratextual and pragmatic elements, or anything concerning the materiality of the genre and the general evolution of textual forms. The first part of the article briefly presents Spitzer's studies, which are little known and rarely used in the context of Romanian criticism. We will then try to highlight how the innovative concepts developed by the Austrian philologist could be useful for a stylistic and linguistic reading, attentive to the formal values and the evolution of the textual structures of the Romanian novel written during the communist period.
