Dispensa coletiva e atuação sindical: evolução normativa e jurisprudencial Brasileira sob a perspectiva do direito comparado.

The purpose of this article is to analyse the principles, rules and procedures regarding collective dismissal and the social protection of workers, communities and economic and social sectors. The transformations that have occurred in the organization of labour, particularly with the use of artificial intelligence systems, have rekindled the theoretical debate about the centrality of human labour as a result of new automation processes. In this context, the collective dismissal of workers portrays a worldwide concern due to its repercussions not only in the individual sphere of the worker, but also in the social balance and quality of life in society. The analysis of the study focuses, therefore, on union action in this context, the normative and jurisprudential Brazilian evolution under the perspective of comparative law.
