The study deals with the beauty of Cassandra in the sources and in the figurative arts of the Greco-Roman period. In particular, the relationship between nudity and beauty, Cassandra shown as a desirable woman, and the images depicting the mythical Trojan heroine’s femininity and sensuality will be highlighted.

Lo studio propone di esaminare la venustà di Cassandra nelle fonti e nelle arti figurative di età greco-romana. In particolare, verrà evidenziato il rapporto tra nudità e bellezza, i contesti in cui Cassandra è considerata donna desiderabile, nonché le immagini in cui sono sottolineate la femminilità e la sensualità della mitica eroina troiana.
