During the international academic week on “Giving Hopes to Girl Children in Armed Conflict. A Joint Commitment from the Academic Community”, held in November 2020, the issue of the interconnection between pandemic and armed conflict has arisen in light of the applicability of international humanitarian law. The topic has also been related on the severe consequences that armed conflict have on girl children. Considering the endemic nature of the pandemic of Covid-19, a deep reflection must be done on the close interconnection between the current pandemic crises and the possible responses of international humanitarian law.
