This article, based on a sociological perspective, aims to study if, and how, the lockdown experience and the related social restrictions have contributed to reshaping some benchmark values, reorienting priorities in people's lives. Did the lockdown experience increase the value of solidarity and mutual help or did it expand individualism and egoism? Did social restrictions make more evident the importance of serious relationships against recreation, success, and amenities? This chapter explores these questions with particular attention to the case of Italy
