This publication represents a contribution to the theme of urban design and its possible evolution in a much hoped for perspective of Sustainability Sensitive Urban Design , to which we must aspire in order to suitably accept the challenges posed to architecture and urban design by sustainable development. This volume illustrates in particular the experience of a workshop applied to a periphery in the Italian city of Pescara, involving professors and students from different Italian and European schools of architecture.
