Abstract
The study of book collections provides today special insights into the analysis of personalities and institutions, according to a perspective that is able to investigate not only more pecifically cultural aspects, but also social and political ones within the context of reference. The paper aims at defining this issue in the wake of Italian and European studies, with special regard to those projects that have published their results on-line. As samples of such approach, we relate two different research experiences that make use of internationally shared methods and instruments, applying them to the Roman context of the Early Modern Age.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
