Abstract
The hand is a complex organ; although it is a perfect mechanism when intact, its lesion causes dysfunction of the hand and thus the entire upper extremity. Treatment of severe bone loss has always been a challenge for hand surgeons. Various methods including autograft, allograft and prosthesis have been used for reconstructions; each has its own advantages and limits. 3D printing is a new technology that permits to design and manufacture customized prosthesis; its applications in hand surgery are still controversial.File allegati a questo prodotto
