Abstract
The castra of Novae, on the lower course of the Danube, in the province of Moesia Inferior, present an interesting epigraphic dossier that includes numerous sacred dedications to divinities which are the object of worship within the camp. In this paper the authors focus in particular on three bases dedicated respectively to Apollo Sanctus, to Apollo Praesagator et Invictus and to Liber Pater, Sanctus et Conservator imperii Romani et legionis I Italicae. Based on the internal references, the three inscriptions can be easily dated at the Severian age (nn. 1-2) and at the Tetrarchic period (n. 3).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
