The availability of energy affects the economic and social progress of a nation, but the way in which energy is made available can negatively affect the ecosystem and, therefore, the quality of life. If industrialized nations continue to withdraw and consume fossil fuels at the current rate, and emerging nations tend to imitate them, the greatest danger in the short and medium term will not be so much that of depleting them, but rather that of causing irreversible damage to the environment. Therefore, individual nations and supranational organizations have moved extensively in recent years to find the most appropriate tools to combine progress and environmental protection, to achieve the goal of a full and effective tool for the use of renewable energy sources .

Abstract
The availability of energy affects the economic and social progress of a nation, but the way in which energy is made available can negatively affect the ecosystem and, therefore, the quality of life. If industrialized nations continue to withdraw and consume fossil fuels at the current rate, and emerging nations tend to imitate them, the greatest danger in the short and medium term will not be so much that of depleting them, but rather that of causing irreversible damage to the environment. Therefore, individual nations and supranational organizations have moved extensively in recent years to find the most appropriate tools to combine progress and environmental protection, to achieve the goal of a full and effective tool for the use of renewable energy sources .I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
