Contemporary migration flow lines are cutting through the world's territories, producing new forms of appropriation of space. This new spatiality is returned as a space of re-action to the processes of securitization of urban space promoted by bio political vision of the world. The migrant subject to displacement remains outside the metropolis's regulated space and the very processes of urban exclusion: his or her urbanity is configured as a transgression against the rules of the territory and his or her claiming of space a form of resistance.

Abstract

Contemporary migration flow lines are cutting through the world's territories, producing new forms of appropriation of space. This new spatiality is returned as a space of re-action to the processes of securitization of urban space promoted by bio political vision of the world. The migrant subject to displacement remains outside the metropolis's regulated space and the very processes of urban exclusion: his or her urbanity is configured as a transgression against the rules of the territory and his or her claiming of space a form of resistance.
