This essay aims at providing a reflection on the potential application of the so-called P2B Regulation (2019/1150) in the peculiar context of the collaborative economy, despite the current lack of a legal obligation. The Regulation could prove as a tool for increasing transparency and fairness of those digital markets, especially in light of the growing importance of prosumers, whose role requires a new approach to peer-to-peer relationships.
