Recently the poor condition of the buildings and the lack of public funds have contributed to address the Lombard Regional Authority toward a demolition-reconstruction surgery carried out by private actors; although the recognition of the historical-documentary and identity values would rather lead to the conservation and redevelopment of the buildings. In consideration of the morphological qualities of the buildings, the redevelopment can’t be made exclusively by recovering the technological and functional performances, but also through designing the overall architectural quality of the buildings, the environmental sustainability, the social inclusion and long-term economic feasibility. The contribution has been articulated in different steps. Abstract
A first phase of analysis and knowledge of the area and the issues of the case study, achieved through the collection, organization and definition of the reference fields (technological, morphological, environmental and socio-economic field), synthesized in a second phase aimed to highlight the critical and potential issues of each investigated field. In order to operate these steps effectively, the research group has adopted a systemic approach typical of the technological culture, in order to reach the formulation of strategies and compose scenarios, starting from a basic level of intervention, implemented at multiple levels.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
