The chapter concerns the contribution of space law and applications to Arctic sustainability policies. From this perspective, the chapter touches upon three main issues: first, applying the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to the Arctic region; second, examining the framework of Arctic cooperation aimed at achieving the sustainability of the region between environmental protection and climate change commitments; and third, how space law and applications can provide unique opportunities to meet the region’s sustainable development needs.
