In the context of a phenomenological and regulatory framework in continuous evolution, this contribution has the limited purpose of questioning the relationship between environmental threats, in particular caused by climate change, and international security, also trying to highlight the latest developments on the subject in the Security Council's practice, as well as the political and legal obstacles that have hitherto prevented the Council from adopting a thematic resolution on the climate / security binomial.
