It all began when some 20 years ago I came across a manuscript – not this one – a manuscript written just 30 years ago by an old man, and with no scientific relevance at all, in which the Author tried to explain the history of an ancient noble family which arrived in Italy during the 14th/15th century – from Greece – and then settled in Southern Italy where it became even more powerful and wealthy, at least until the beginning of 20th century.
