Convenções fundamentais da oit e trabalhadores em plataformas digitais: caminhos para a tutela sob a perspectiva internacional

This article aims to analyze the challenges faced by workers who make their services available through on location-based digital platforms and to what extent the fundamental social rights to maintain a dignified existence, a decent job, following the fundamentals recommended by the International Labor Organization - ILO, especially in the context of the current economic and social crisis resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, can be guaranteed. It starts from the perspective of the fragility of the relationship in which these workers find themselves, whose main source of income, due to the exponential increase in the number of unemployed, results from the use of these work platforms. Therefore, we will analyze how ILO member countries can commit to guaranteeing a minimum set of rights to be observed by companies that make their services available through digital platforms. The deductive methodology was used for the research, through bibliographical, legislative, and jurisprudential research.
