The chapter offers an analysis of one-century-long Manuals and textbooks used for the teaching of demographic topics, exploring the different pedagogical approaches and aims covered. Only textbooks published in Europe, North America and Australia are considered, printed in English, French and Italian, mainly from the more renowned schools. We intend to focus on the various approaches practiced as well as differences among cultures and over time in some of the major and more popular textbooks available. We also reflect on some proposals for textbooks and manuals in the new millennium.

We also reflect on some proposals for textbooks and manuals in the new millennium.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
