Maimonides' Knowledge of Avicenna. Some Tentative Conclusions about a Debated Question

We examine here the possible or safe traces of influence of the philosophy of Avicenna on that of Maimonides, and concluded that this influence was limited and often mediated by the figure of al-Ghazali.
