The doctrine of ‘Meditiren’ in Kant’s logical writings shows that Kant devised a multiphase method for directing our discovery, so as not to leave it to chance and luck. In particular, his treatment of provisional judgments reveals the project of a method for posing and solving problems according to a plan. The examination of Kant’s philosophy as an example of successful ‘Meditiren’ allows to conclude that he considered heuristics as a desirable addition to applied logic, meant as a logic dealing with the way human beings think by using understanding, reason and the capacity to judge in conjunction with sensibility, imagination, will and memory.

Abstract
The doctrine of ‘Meditiren’ in Kant’s logical writings shows that Kant devised a multiphase method for directing our discovery, so as not to leave it to chance and luck. In particular, his treatment of provisional judgments reveals the project of a method for posing and solving problems according to a plan. The examination of Kant’s philosophy as an example of successful ‘Meditiren’ allows to conclude that he considered heuristics as a desirable addition to applied logic, meant as a logic dealing with the way human beings think by using understanding, reason and the capacity to judge in conjunction with sensibility, imagination, will and memory.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
