After describing the second codicological unit of the MS Crypt. Ζ.α.XXIX / gr. 55 in which the collection of the poems by Christopher Mitylenaios has been handed down to us, the author analyzes the incomplete text of the epigram 70, consisting of the epitaph dedicated to the σεβαστή Maria, of which he proposes a new edition and interpretation, and discusses the possibilities of identifying the female dedicatee of the poem.
