The third issue of this journal is once again created by the joint efforts of two linguistic teams represented by the Russian researchers from the Department of Romance-Germanic Languages of Kuban State University (Krasnodar, Russia) and the Italian researchers from the Italian universities of Ferrara and Bari. The third volume of "Essays on Language and Translation" (2011) offers a wide range of contributions aimed at exploring linguistic, teaching and translation issues. Due to this large variety of issues covered in this volume, topics are not arranged in a thematic order but rather in an alphabetic order.
