Starting from the experience of the You trailer project, this chapter intends to share some points of reflection on the media-educational value of the project from different perspectives: a) The micro-social one of the stimulation of learning processes, strictly connected to the specific characteristics of the audiovisual language within a formal and informal socialisation pathway; b) the more directly related to the perspective of Visual Literacy and Visual Education with particular reference to the implementation of cognitive and metacognitive skills of the project experience, thanks to the integration of educational strategies and methods within the school context and through the cultural mediation of teachers (or educators), and c) the macro-social one related to the collaboration between universities, schools and the Ministry, with the aim of converging and comparing specific, though heterogeneous, knowledge and skills towards a single objective: the cultural stimulation and implementation of the critical awareness of media products by the new generations.
