During excavations made by the Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma in the neighborhood of Monte Mario, the remains of some Roman structures were found and documented, along the ancient via Triumpahlis. In the filling of an ancient Roman water depot, there was also an inscribed marmor slab with a fragmentary inscription. The new epigraphic document is a funerary text related to Consessus, a young eques Romanus, who died in AD 230, as we know from the mention of the consuls Agricola and Clementino.
