The impact of digitalization on the company value. A nonperforming loan management business application

The management of non-performing loans has given rise to a large number of specialized companies. The latter, over the years, have increasingly focused on the construction of a computerized operating machine, capable of managing the incoming and outgoing information flows. The management of non-performing credit is increasingly based on knowledge and information assets. The companies that manage these loans have embarked on an important path of digitization and today this becomes an important element for giving them value. Non-performing loan management companies have a value substantially equal to the value of the so-called operating machine. This analysis shows a case of evaluation that took place in the merger between two operators on the Italian market.
