Little Domestic Architectures is a photographic project born in 2020 during the first Covid-19 global quarantine as an Instagram collection of images. Little Domestic Architectures – a lockdown exhibition – is the first show of the project, taking place in a tier of 4 friendly mode through the windows of Frank Ison Space, in London. The Little Domestic Architectures are small models of imaginary and existing architectures made up of ordinary objects that anyone could have at home during the pandemic. When going outside wasn’t possible, the collectors have re-imagined the inside, creating architectural landscapes within the boundary of the house; sponges, laundry pegs, brushes, coffee machines, bowls, glasses, plants, graters and much more are the domestic protagonists of the little architectures.
