This essay offer a reinterpretation of the concept of image, as a fundamentally paradoxical nature: as the identity/difference of visible and invisible, i.e. of transparency (the determinate) and opacity (the indeterminate). Hence, the recognition of that temporality which characterizes the images and, at the same time, their creative and productive capacity, that is all the same with their critical and testifying function as opposed to the more and more common forms of iconoclasm and idolatry.

Abstract
The paper proposes a new understanding of the concept of image, understood as a constitutive dimension paradoxical as an identity-difference of the visible and invisible, that of transparency (the contracts) and opacity (the indeterminate). Hence the recognition of internal temporality that is typical of the images, and together, that their creative and productive capacity that is one with their critical function and witnesses, as opposed to the more common forms of iconoclasm and idolatria. This essay offer a reinterpretation of the concept of image, as a fundamentally paradoxical nature: as the identity / difference of visible and invisible, ie of transparency (the particular) and opacity (the indeterminate). Hence, the recognition of temporality That Which characterizes the images and, at the same time, Their creative and productive capacity, that is all the same and Testifying With Their critical function, as opposed to the blackberries and more common forms of idolatry and iconoclasm.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
