Within a complete survey on the collection of Persian manuscripts and paintings acquired by the American scholar and collector Bernard Berenson (1865-1959), this article provides the first extensive study of its most precious item, the so-called Baysunghur Anthology, produced in 1427 for the personal library of the Timurid prince Ghiyath al-Din Baysunghur. The article provides the identification of the seven treatises included in the Anthology, together with a commentary on their contents, textual references, and cultural contexts.
