This Chapter discusses the sales system and business policy of Salghetti-Drioli family from the end of the 18th century to mid-19th century. Particular attention was given to business correspondance and the nature of their relations with business partners, The text reveals that the relations were not strictly professional; namely, their business contacts also included exchange of information related to general political situations, cultural exchange etc. In order to maintain and expand its business Empire SD family was in contact with different influential persons from turbulent period of the collapse of ancient regime, Napoleon's conquest of Europe, and restoration attempt to return to old condition. Through them maraschino expanded persistently as high-quality brand that was consuumated in high society of that time
Questo saggio tratta il sistema di vendita e la politica commerciale della famiglia Salghetti-Drioli tra la fine del XVIII secolo e l’inizio del XX secolo. Particolare attenzione viene data alla corrispondenza commerciale e alla natura delle relazioni con i partners commerciali. Il testo rivela che le relazioni non erano strettamente professionali; Ovvero, i loro contatti d'affari includevano anche lo scambio di informazioni relative a situazioni politiche generali, scambi culturali ecc. Al fine di mantenere ed espandere la propria attività la famiglia Salghetti-Drioli era in contatto con diverse persone influenti nel periodo turbolento che andò dal crollo dell'antico regime, alla conquista di Napoleone d'Europa alla restaurazione. Attraverso di loro il maraschino si propagò in modo durevole come marchio di alta qualità usato nell'alta società del tempo.
