La descrizione riguarda l’esame filologico dei frammenti. The topic of my paper is a general description of a series of manuscript texts kept in the IsIAO Library. These texts recovered by Giuseppe Tucci (1894-1984) in Tholing (Western Tibet) are ancient handwritten copies of texts of the Buddhist Canon ( Tibetan bka’ ‘gyur) and consist of about three thousand folios. These texts are important from the philological point of view and for the study of orthography and palaeography as well.
