"Girotondo" di identità. Il sistema delle relazioni nei processi di inserimento di bambini stranieri nella scuola dell'infanzia

The third research presented in this volume (see Chap. 3) focuses on the system of inter-ethnic relations that is instituted within the nursery, where - given the lack of autonomy of the child - the mismatch between the educational horizons teachers and parents can trigger identity conflicts and impose barriers to communication in the process of integration of foreign children in the school fabric. The research presented also offers the opportunity to consider the risk that in the specific fields of interethnic coexistence that school is structured as a system of relations between the different social actors involved (teachers, parents and pupils) that helps to reproduce the same, at least in part, differences and asymmetries of power linked to the various roles on the basis of ethnicity in the macro-environment.

La terza ricerca presentata nel volume (cfr. cap. 3) si concentra sul sistema delle relazioni interetniche che si viene ad istituire all’interno delle scuole dell’infanzia, dove – considerata la scarsa autonomia del bambino - il mancato incontro tra gli orizzonti educativi degli insegnanti e dei genitori può innescare conflitti identitari e frapporre barriere comunicative nel processo di inserimento dei bambini stranieri nel tessuto scolastico. La ricerca presentata offre anche la possibilità di considerare il rischio che in specifici ambiti di convivenza interetnica come quello scolastico si strutturi un sistema di relazioni tra i diversi attori sociali coinvolti (insegnanti, genitori e alunni) che contribuisce a riprodurre contestualmente, almeno in parte, le differenze e le asimmetrie di potere collegate ai diversi ruoli ricoperti su base etnica nel macro-contesto.
