After the Cold War, there is an increase in the numbers of the Islamic journals due to artificial liberal atmosphere in the freedom of press in Turkey. These journals directly aim to rise an awareness on Islam, Jihad, and similar concepts that ontologically contrast both internal and foreign positions of Turkey. In this research, I have selected the case of the Bosnian war (1992- 1995) and its narrative on these journals to demonstrate how it turns into a part of memory politics of Turkey and how it symbolizes an ontological insecure rupture for the sake of a patronage of the Muslim world. The Bosnian war was internalized by the Islamist front of Turkey as an internal affair due to former influence of the Ottomans in the region and the interpretation of Islam as an organic link between the two countries, therefore I have selected the Bosnian war.
