Campaigning for Europe. The Christian Democratic party and the Europeanization of masses. Bulletin Traguardo (1948-1957)

Considering Propaganda as a means for indoctrination and training for the masses in modern society, the article analyìzes the Christian democratic Europeanism and in which way it has been disseminated in the postwar Italian society. The considered span is from the first step of the European integration to the Treaties of Rome. In this perspective, the analysis is mainly devoted to the bulletin "Traguardo", which was elaborated by Christian Democracy in order to indicate to its activists, the topics, themes, and technicalities for promoting its own propaganda.
