Space-borne Earth Observations are expected to provide important strategic, social and economic benefits of territorial and societal nature. Therefore, it is paramount to deploy an effective strategy for stimulating among individuals and private and public actors the uptake of EO data, services and information. To access the benefits offered by EO and, more in general, by the recent spatial and digital innovation trends, social and territorial conflicts should evolve into social cooperation, as all individuals and all private and public institutions are called to play a role in the activation of processes of resilient transformation toward sustainable development.

Abstract
Space-borne Earth Observations are expected to provide important strategic, social and economic benefits of territorial and societal nature. Therefore, it is paramount to deploy an effective strategy for stimulating among individuals and private and public actors the uptake of EO data, services and information. To access the benefits offered by EO and, more in general, by the recent spatial and digital innovation trends, social and territorial conflicts should evolve into social cooperation, as all individuals and all private and public institutions are called to play a role in the activation of processes of resilient transformation toward sustainable development.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
