In post industrial society, mobility in the working and leisure related acrivities tends to take on subtle differences as far as the place of work, free time, recreation, training and continuing education is concerned. Even human mobility is sensitive to a change in the organizational plan and logistics of a model which involves a product to a more evolved one which is mail concerned with demand. The concentration of mobility flows of goods and people in the Euro-Mediterranean region, this paper builds four scenarios of human mobility in the different possible economic, social and environmental variables. The scenarios consider: (i) the effective reduction of North-South imbalance; (ii) the capacity to absorb restructuring on the part of the territory whiteout compromising its inherent cultural and/or environmental features; (iii) the society's capacity to absorb the effects of re-structuring without compromising lifestyle, customs and habits, cultural characteristics, ethical and religious values, as well as the role of the family. Several questions like " what are the conditions for change in size and characteristics of international mobility?"; "does a new relationship between the local and global exists?"; "what are the implications for new forms of mobility?"; "considering the new interactions among the types of mobility which have been identified, is a new theory or are new instruments of empirical analysis necessary?", should find and adequate answer in geographical research.
