In ancient languages, no word uniquely indicated the child. Nevertheless, the reflection on Urworte and more specifically on the relationship between "primordial word" and childhood has involved since its inception the cultures of the past, both classical and near-eastern, and has been particularly interested in their religious and symbolic universes. The author then quickly retraces the discussion on this topic of W. Goethe, S. Freud, C.G. Jung, and M.L. von Franz, and connects it, through some significant junctions, to the emergence and evolution of modern studies on the history of childhood. This forms the basis for outlining the boundaries of a search on “Representation and Sacral Management of Childhood in the Cultures of the Mediterranean and the Near East”. A project that has already achieved interesting results, some of which are briefly described here.

Abstract
A project that has already achieved interesting results, some of which are briefly described here.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
