The detailed study of chipped stones of late prehistoric sites in Anatolia has a recent development when compared with other regions like the Levant (first half of the 20th century). Moreover the stone artefacts lost their preeminence until recent times in the studies about the post-palaeolithic material culture, also because the metal artefacts replaced stone artefacts in a series of activities. The paper deals in particular with some aspects of the Late Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Ages lithic technologies considered relevant for the reconstruction of the dynamics of change in the economic system of the agro-pastoral communities, and in particular with: 1. Abstract
The issue of raw material procurement and use. 2. spatial analyses 3. The recent use-wear analyses on “Large Blades”.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
