The object of the study is the stations along the disused railway line Rome-Fiuggi. This was built between 1913 and 1918, with 40 stations, 30 of which still existing. The length of the track exceeded 130 km and a complete journey took about 3 hours. The line remained active until 1935, when the progressive closure began. It continued until the nineties of the last century, when the section was limited to the metropolitan area of Rome. Objectives of the work are: the historical research of the events that led to the construction of the railway, the location and the census of the stations, the analysis of both the architectural language of buildings and the conservative state of the artifacts. The main aim is to develop a project proposal consistent with the historical values traced and in line with recent trends in the field of recovery of existing buildings, especially of railway archeology.

Abstract
The main aim is to develop a project proposal consistent with the historical values traced and in line with recent trends in the field of recovery of existing buildings, especially of railway archeology.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
