Abstract
The church of S. Callisto is located in Rome in the Trastevere district. It is a church with a single nave, in which the main axis given by the single nave is opposed to the transverse one, defined by two side chapels. The comparison of the unpublished survey with archive sources has recently made significant contributions to the study of the building. The reconstruction of the transformation phases has in fact allowed us to hypothesize a previous dating. The restoration project develops on two different scales: that of the square and that of the church. The outdoor paving project clearly defines the intended use through the use of materials of the Roman tradition used with contemporary forms. Inside the church the project, on the other hand, develops with targeted and non-invasive interventions. The arrangement of the three fires, of the tabernacle and of the church benches is designed in compliance with the norms of the Second Vatican Council and with the aim of allowing the optimal performance of the functions in one of the neighborhood's most identious churches.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
