The objective of this document is to summarize the current work conducted within GMOSS regarding the use of Earth Observation (EO) and geospatial data to derive indicators for the presence of populations and their characteristics. The objective of this paper is to create a link between the Earth Observation products generated and the demand for infromation at the policy level.
