Il tifo come pratica di riscrittura della città

Soccer related places and practices are a mirror of the cultural and identity metamorphosis of society that contribute to the definition of the city and of the actors that inhabit it. Three students of the Faculty of Communication and Social Research of Sapienza, University of Rome, conducted ethno-semiotic observation of sports consumption practices and a semiotic analysis of the significant processes, treated as texts, where the human way of giving meaning to the world manifests itself,, selecting the relevant data on the basis of their pertinence. The analysis was conducted on the field, in a comparative manner, paying attention to the spaces that characterize the supporters of the teams A.S. Roma and S.S. Lazio, considering the habits of the actors, their emotional, cognitive and proxemic configurations, as well as the socio-cultural constructions of the sport consumption places. Through stadium, derby, shops, restaurants, intended as points of interest, we will focus on how the organization of the urban areas and the behaviors of the actors orient and resemantize the city and vice versa.
