This essay collects some studies and research experiences related to the Vanvitellian complex of Caserta in the context of a wider research activity that involved numerous scholars, coordinated by prof. Cesare Cundari. Notably, the studies were directed towards a critical reading of the Park, worthy of a reconsideration according to a process of integration between survey and documentation. Besides, operational models were explored and experimented exemplifying possible subsequent research paths through modeling and rendering techniques of singular elements of the Park (the Eolo fountain) and the Palace (the throne room).
