The chapte analyses applicable law and provides an overview of international case law so far. It shows that in the future and for the purposes of Post 2030-Agenda of the UN, it can be envisaged that data satellite will be more and more widespread. Satellite data will be significant not only for the traditional issues such as environmental protection or borders delimitation, but also in other domains, like human rights protection.
