This work concerns the potentiality applying a partial ordering method to a sociological study. It studies the relationships between labour status and subjective well-being, analysing micro-data from the European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (Eu-SILC). The analysis focuses on the ad-hoc module on subjective well-being revealed in the 2013 edition of the survey. Following the OECD Guidelines on Measuring Subjective Well-being (2013), I assumed the multidimensionality of well-being as a premise. In order to preserve the multidimensionality of the concept of Subjective Well-being (SWB), I applied a non-aggregative synthesis approach based on partial ordering. This note compares results of Partial Ordering methodology with results of other synthesis methods.

Abstract
This note compares results of Partial Ordering methodology with results of other synthesis methods.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
